Our client, a local manufacturing company is currently looking for qualified Manufacturing Engineers.
Requirements for the qualified Manufacturing Engineer:
-Must be able to pass a drug and background test
-Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
Manufacturing Engineering
-Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience
-Must have experience with jig and fixture design
-Must have experience programming CNC machines
-Must have experience with either AutoCAD or Inventor
-Must have experience with negotiating
-Experience with Lean Manufacturing is preferred
-Experience with Microsoft project is preferred
The qualified Manufacturing Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
-Plans and designs manufacturing processes (time studies, process layouts, lean manufacturing, jig & fixture design)
-Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
-Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
-Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and simulation tools to optimize, use of space, equipment, material and personnel
-Increase productivity, eliminate waste and influence new designs to minimize cost
-Assist in developing plant layout in planning rearrangement of facilities, equipment and operations for better utilization of space
-Ensure efficient production methods and quality results
-Produce quality, efficient, and consistent output 5S
-Will be interacting with vendors and negotiating equipment
