Job Listing: Chief Engineer

Seeking a talented Chief Engineer for a solid propellant rocket motor project. Successful candidate will be responsible for the technical execution and engineering excellence of the assigned program. Candidate accomplishes this responsibility through a staff of dedicated engineers and supporting functional engineering organization. Candidate should possess strong technical skills in aerospace propulsion, technical management and experience across the range of project life cycles from concept, development, production, delivery, customer integration and flight testing.

The Chief Engineer will develop and execute technical plans to meet contract requirements and manage risks. Collaborate and coordinate with program management on cost and schedule for technical elements of the programs. Key technical point of contact with the customer community. Participate in customer review panels. Responsible for "delighting the customer" (both internal and external customers) for the assigned program. Participate as a member of Engineering leadership in evaluating and upgrading engineering processes, effectiveness and efficiency improvements.

Candidate Requirements:
-BS Mechanical Eng, Aerospace Eng, Systems Engineering.
-Strong skills in Aerospace Propulsion and technical management.

Technical Skills:
-Demonstrated problem solving, previous management experience, previous customer interface.
-Personality traits to include strong work ethic, ethics , poise and self motivation.
