Job Listing: Plant Electrician

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects and repairs electrical operating equipment as necessary. Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs to electrical and control systems. Works in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise. Keeps accurate and legible records. Maintains clean safe work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Oregon Limited Journeyman Mfg Plant Electrician License-or higher
- PLC/Automated Control experience
- AC/DC controls/motors, systems drives
- Ability to read blueprints or schematic drawings
- Basic understanding of Oregon Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures
- Proficient in use of Computer (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and accept changes in job duties
- Able to learn, retain and apply new knowledge
- Good written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills
- Self motivated and directed
- Good problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Flexible - Able to work independently or in team environment
- Willing to cross train in other crafts
- Able to work in environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
- Completion of ergonomics evaluation

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Five years experience in Heavy Industrial Plant maintenance, Instrumentation qualified, ISO 9002 knowledge, Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Predictive/Preventative maintenance experience.
