Job Listing: ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Our client is a manufacturing company located in Merritt Island, Fl. They are seeking an Electrical Designer for a contract position.

Job Functions:

**Creates schematics. construction print & computer models of electrical system while in compliance with ABYC, NMMA, National Fire Code and Coast Guard requirements.
**Receives information on new product design including measurements, projected equipment & floor plan.
**Design electrical systems, harnesses & prepares drawings using CAD software.
**Works with staff to decide best how to structure and install harnesses to minimize production materials and labor costs.
**Maintains and updates computer model throughout the construction of prototype.
**Capable of calculating shipboard AC and DC load calculations to determine wire size, battery requirements, charging systems, generator size and shore power requirements.
