Job Listing: Business/Metadata Analyst

Large client in the Northwest suburbs is seeking a Business Analyst to support several data warehouse projects.

Will be responsible for managing the functional requirements, define approach, plan, write and gather metadata. Will work with the various business groups and partner with the Project Managers to gather information is defined and named according to quality standards. Support the various loading procedures of logical models and databases into the metadata repository. Follow established data administration standards for quality and referential integrity

Qualified candidates need to have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in a Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Will work with logical modeler on projects and change requests. Must have experience with software requirement methodologies, develop detailed business requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and have the ability to read logical data model and ERwin. Experience with General Ledger or a Financial Data Warehouse is preferred.

This is a 6-12 month contract to hire opportunity with our client.
