Job Listing: Electronic Quality Inspector

My client in Hackettstown, NJ is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector.

This position requires inspection of material and assemblies according to drawing / router inspection instructions through entire production process.

Determines the acceptability of the inspected items and assures all product history records, test data, and production documents are correct and complete to current standards.

Examine layout and installation of assemblies / subassemblies, hardware and wiring to detect assembly records.

Examine assemblies / subassemblies visually, with or without a microscope or other magnifying device to determine physical defects including but not limited to broken wires, insufficient or excess solder, missing components, polarity of component, component placement, weld irregularities, and coating irregularities.

Measure parts for conformance to specified dimensions using precision measuring instruments including but not limited to micrometers, microscope reticle, vernier caliper, gages, and rulers.

Record Inspection data by filling out necessary forms, logs, and assembly routers.

Review documentation (assembly routers) ensuring that all entries are complete, all recorded test data is within specified limits and that all required documentation is included.
