Job Listing: Electrical Designer/Engineer

Aerotek is working with a client in need of an Electrical Design Engineer. This company is the largest employee-owned, multi-disciplined engineering firm in Maryland, employing roughly 1,000 operating out of offices in 13 states. They are located in North Baltimore and offer a broad range of engineering services, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical. They work with Commercial and Government Facilities including: hospitals, health complexes, campuses, education facilities, military bases.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor Degree is preferred but not necessary
-5+ years of experience in the electrical design of commercial buildings
-Experience with lighting, power distribution, and electrical distribution
-Proficient with AutoCAD
-Experience and proficiency with codes and calculations
-Experience meeting with clients

Responsibilities:

-This candidate will be working in the Mechanical/Electrical Division which includes about 20 people. They will be working directly with senior engineers on commercial and government projects. This candidate will be using AutoCAD and going on site visits to clients. They will be revising and designing the facilities on lighting, and power distribution.
