Job Listing: Pro E Designer

Aerotek Engineering Pittsburgh have an immediate opening for a Pro-E designer in Canonsburg, PA.

The designer is responsible for producing drawings of heavy mobile equipment and designing state of the art industrial equipment.

Job details:

- Design precision machine parts, cams & gears, mechanism, castings and sheet metal brackets, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Design parts/assembly/fixture from scratch or sketches and with minimal instructions/directions
- Develop conceptual layouts to capture product specification and function of assembly/component interface, size, location, and placement
- Specify material/finish and selection of OEM components (hardware, fasteners, pins, fitting, etc.)
- Create complex 3D models, large assembly, fabrication drawings utilizing Pro-Engineer – Wildfire 3.0
- Proficient in Top Down Design (TDD) methodologies and applications of model-centric designs
