Our client located in Lanham, MD is currently seeing a Human Resources Generalist.
Position responsibilities to include but not limited to compensation and job descriptions, benefits, EEO programs, training and legal compliance. Individuals in this position should require minimal supervision. This position may supervise one or more subordinates.
Responsible for assisting in the development of the Human Resources Department plans, programs and services in support of the goals, objectives and priorities of the organization. Candidate will identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance. Will also be involved of administration of performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Candidates should possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and be computer literate in Microsoft Office products, ABRA and Crystal Reports. Degree preferred and 4 plus years in a Human Resources Generalist role.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a BS/BA degree in Human Resources or a related discipline plus a minimum of 4 years progressively responsible HR experience, providing the candidate with a solid foundation in multiple human resources practices, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualified candidates must be extremely organized, self-motivated, capable of working in a rapidly changing environment, and have the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management. Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and be computer literate in Microsoft Office products, ABRA and Crystal.
Qualified candidates must also be able to demonstrate that they possess the following skills and abilities:
