Job Listing: **ELECTRICAL ENGINEER**PROJECT LEAD

Volt is currently working with a recognized world leader in the design and manufacture of construction and mining equipment. This well established multi-billion dollar company has an urgent need for an Electrical Engineering Project Lead with solid experience. This is a direct opportunity that, independently or as part of a team, is involved in the maintenance and improvement of processes and systems used in the manufacturing of product.

This manufacturing client is currently looking for a Leader to mentor a team in the development of an embedded, real-time advanced and predictive analytical subsystem. The Project Lead will also coordinate with technology suppliers and other technical and commercial partners to integrate new technology into products, commercial practices and product support.

In addition, this employee will lead the verification of concepts, subsystem designs, Subsystem Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and partner with suppliers to ensure the implementation of best practices into the designs.

The position will involve working closely with the basic monitoring system software developers as well as machine and engine system coordinators. The position will also contribute to the development process improvements and product quality improvements.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years of experience with machine system, software or component development; Knowledge and experience with NPI and Six Sigma; Proven successful experience leading a team. Knowledge and experience with embedded software development including Assembly, C, and C++ are highly encouraged!

A candidate with experience in both system/component integration and embedded software development is a huge plus.
