Job Listing: Motivated C# Developer
Large Redmond based Software Development Company is in need of a good C# developer to help them with one of their experienced teams. They are looking for candidates that can clearly see how PC use could be simple, intuitive and tailored to a person's needs. This is a very small team that is building from the ground up so the team needs candidates that thrive in a start up environment and short development cycles.
The team has several positions which they are in need of candidates. First and foremost the team needs the candidates to have solid C# development skills, though they will look at candidates with a good C++ background that have started the move to C#. Candidates need to have good problem solving and debugging skills because they will be developing in a test environment. Since the team has multiple positions they need candidates with differing levels of secondary skills such as SQL, XML and IIS.
This is an estimated 1 year contract position with Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Required Skills
Required Skills for this Motivated C# Developer:
Candidates need to have solid coding skills in C# though they will look at good C++ coders that are moving to C#.
Good test aptitude. Candidates need to have good debugging and trouble shooting skills.
SQL knowledge, candidates should be able to query and pull information from tables. The more experience in this area the more the advantage a candidate will have.
Candidates will be working with Web Services and ASP.Net so candidates should have familiarity with one or both.
Bonus Skills:
Candidates with good test experience will have an advantage.
Some knowledge of XML
Knowledge of web services and or ASP.Net
If a candidate has experience with IIS they will have an advantage.
