Job Listing: Technical Project Manager

Active Directory Migration project

Directs and monitors all activities for medium to large, medium to high risk, major technology-based projects from initiation to delivery. Projects typically cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines. Works with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. Plans and directs program schedules and budget, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management, and communication with business lines and technology management levels. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.

Project overview: project will migrate a group of users from their current active directory structure to the new active directory structure.

The project will be two phased: phase 1 will kick off immediately, and they are looking to complete this phase by year end (this this the tight timeframe); phase 2 is targeting completion in Q32009.



Required Skills

Combination of education and work experience typically equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years technical project management experience.

Looking for a Project Manager with a strong Microsoft/Active Directory skill set/background. Strong infrastructure/network background is critical as well as a successful track record leading technical projects. Certifications a plus.
