Job Listing: Purchasing Assistant

Volt Services Group is seeking a Purchasing Assistant for a large Hi-Tech company in Roseville.

This temporary position will report to the Business Management, Deployment and Process team, part of the company's Global Procurement organization.

You will be responsible for assisting Global Procurement end users with contract and supplier management administration per Procurement process standards. This involves working with Procurement professionals across the globe to administer and upload contract and supplier management information into the company's contracts management application. In addition, you will be responsible for creating weekly and / or monthly status reports as well as implementing dashboard templates for use by Procurement professionals.



Required Skills

The candidate must have experience working in a Procurement environment with a good understanding of the Procurement process including but not limited to Sourcing, Contracting, Order Management and Supplier Management.

Knowledge of Ariba or other Contracting and Supplier Management tools preferred. Ability to learn software quickly and proficiently. Skillful at detailed and accurate data entry. Proficient at excel, word and outlook. Initiative, resourcefulness and problem solving ability. Confidence, fluency in English, and strong communication skills. Flexible schedule depending on category/region. Must have attention to detail. Ability to prioritize work from a variety of teams. Ability to handle office technology. Customer focus: interaction with GP end users.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
