Job Listing: Part Time HTML Web Development Support
Major Purpose:
Supports Marketing Information processes that provides valuable product information and tools for dealers and customers.
Major Duties:
* Support review and implementation of web content by interacting with marketing groups, legal, other divisions and the enterprise to maintain current and relevant marketing information, ensure that the company and industry web standards are met in delivering a functional and dynamic site.
* Review web content for proper usage and consistency of graphics, trademarks, punctuation and writing standards used in marketing information. Check, proof, work with author to correct errors, Troubleshoot content management system errors. Read log files to locate the errors, and then advise/correct the error. Ensure all needed files are included in deployments.
* Create web graphics, review and teach authors how to correct graphic issues.
* Support ongoing enhancements to sales manual processes, test and troubleshoot enhancements before release.
* Support communication process for Marketing Information with the authoring teams.
* Support correction of errors identified in web reports.
* Analyze feedback responses, create metrics report and post monthly.
Required Skills
Education: Will consider technical student for this PT role (look for pursuing a degree in a technical field, i.e. CIS)
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
* Knowledge of various communication skills such as design, editing, photography, audio visual, web, journalism, marketing and advertising desired.
* Multi-media technology skills desired.
* Advanced computer systems knowledge, software skills.
* Use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
* Programming knowledge of internet scripting languages and/or content management systems, preferred but not required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
