Job Listing: Hospital Billing/collections

This is a contract to hire position as a healthcare collector. It is paying between $14-$17 an hour.

Job Description:

Candidate will protect and recover the hospitals assets by monitoring accounts receivable; collecting delinquent accounts, appealing denials and underpayments, and making payment arrangements.

This position requires a strong background in healthcare collection or hospital billing(at least 3 years). Also a candidate must have a knowledge of Managed Care contacts, commercial, work comp., government and self pay collections. They must also have an understanding of healthcare billing guidelines and know Medicate, HIS systems, Excell, Microsoft Word, and ACCESS data base.
