Job Listing: Medical Case Manager, RN

A Medical client of ours is looking for a Nurse Case Manager to work on site in Hinsdale, Illinois as a liaison between the HMO and Physicians performing care.

Responsibilities:

- Manage patients through the care process
- Act as a liaison between the HMO and physicians performing the care
- Performs utilization and case management activities including inpatient pre certification, concurrent and retrospective review, and also discharge planning
- Provide a complete, accurate and timely process of utilization and case management data necessary to provide analysis
- Collects appropriate clinical information to make a determination of medical necessity for reviewed service

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practitioner Nurse
- 1+ years experience in utilization review, quality assurance, discharge planning
- Managed care experience preferred
