Job Listing: Bridge Engineer

An Aerotek client, a leading engineering firm in the North Shore that specializes in bridge projects is seeking a junior to mid-level engineer to join their Salisbury office.

Job Duties:


*Engineer will work on various bridge design projects in the Boston area.
*Prepare preliminary and final designs for bridge structures.
*Duties also include performing structural calculations for superstructure and substructures design, preparing design details, and assisting in preparation of contract drawings, cost estimates and estimates.


Job Requirements:


*BS in Civil Engineering.
*5+ years experience in designing bridges for Massachusetts Highway Department.
*Familiarity with AutoCAD and structural engineering software is also required.
*Familiarity with Finite Element and discrete element analysis would be a plus.
*Ideal candidate needs to have: New Bridge Design Experience (Concrete/Steel or some timber)
* Experience with existing Bridge rehab design experience
* Experience with Bridge Inspection and Rating experience.
* MA Highway experience is a must!
