A leading pharmaceutical company is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Contract Coordinator position.
The ideal candidate needs to have experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a similar role.
A major pharmaceutical company's product discount chargeback agreements are growing in number, complexity and importance, covering some of the most important and challenging managed business segments.
The Contract Coordinator is a position within the Chargeback Contracting & Administration Department (CCA). The position is designed to have primary responsibility for contract set up and maintenance, price changes, membership maintenance, market share moves, processing admin fees and all other contract administration duties.
The Contract Coordinator will be responsible for completing the peer review of market share performance for assigned customers, and moving the customers to the appropriate discount tiers.
I. MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Describe briefly the major activities of the position.
- Indicate the approximate percentage of time spent on each activity.
- Includes working with GPO customers to ensure timely and accurate receipt of quarterly data submissions.
- Must also be able to calculate the moves as back up to the Market Share Analyst.
- The Coordinator will receive and load new market share program participants into the CCB system on the appropriate introductory tier and will communicate new participant information to the prime wholesalers.
- The Coordinator will also maintain files of all LOP's/LOC's.
II. CONTRACT SET UO AND MAINTENANCE:
- Enter new contracts into system, including all pricing and terms and conditions (T&C's).
- Initial entry in bid status.
- Activate contracts upon receipt of executed contract from Contract Manager or designee.
- Confirm pricing and all other T&C's have not changed before activating contract.
- Process contract amendments for extensions, price adjustments, and product additions and deletions.
- Process price increases as communicated by supervisor.
- Enter new pricing and complete peer reviews.
- Complete communication to customer as appropriate.
* The perfect candidate for this position is someone who has I-many CARS experience, or Chargeback and Contracting experience
* Financial/Accounting background is preferred.
