Job Listing: J2EE Security Architect

TEKsystems is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our team here in Bloomington, IL.

This person will consult with and/or participate in business, project, and service efforts, ensuring appropriate and consistent implementation of application security. This person will also serve as a point of contact for adopters of new application security methods/tools, facilitating/guiding the adopter’s use of appropriate guidelines and processes. They will also document and communicate application security architecture gaps identified through enablement activities, researching and recommending solutions for addressing the gaps.


The right candidate will also be responsible for the following:

-They will identify and develop guidance documentation for designers and developers on how they are to use application security concepts and tools.

- The will also serve as a point of contact for designers, developers, and other security analysts to help them understand and apply application security concepts and tools in implementing appropriate solutions.

- They will also participate in establishing future direction for application security architecture through providing research, recommendations, and input as assigned.

- They will also lead and/or participate in developing and documenting patterns and guidance for application security architecture.

- They will also perform problem solving and issue resolution relating to application security architecture problems/issues.

- They will also participate in the development and provision of application security architecture related training.
