Job Listing: Sales Engineer

A large manufacturing company in Howell has an immediate opening for a sales engineer.

This person will have daily interaction with managers both internally and externally. They will be traveling both locally and nationally. For the first two years of employment, this person should expect to travel at least
50% of the time.

Job Duties:
* Primary interface to the customer for commercial issues.
* Meeting with purchasing personnel at customer base.
* Establish and maintain close contact with the commercial origination of our customers and be able to contact any member of that group to resolve commercial issues.
*Know our customer' software packages and how to enter commercial documentation into their systems.
*Review, approve and summarize the commercial contracts for OAC business requirements.
* Direct price negotiations with customers to ensure that profitable piece price and tooling prices are established.
* Responsible for creating new business and gaining new clients

Job Requirements:
* 50% Travel both locally and nationally
* Degree in Engineering
* 3+ years of non automotive account management

This position is a direct hire position.

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $55,000 to $86,000 per Year
