Job Listing: Field Technician

We are currently hiring 15 Field Technicians for a large telecommunications company in Buffalo Grove, IL. The company is a recognized leader in retail voice, POS, and data communications network implementation and maintenance.

Qualified field technicians must meet the following criteria:

- At least 5 years of experience in cable/telecommunications installation, repair, and maintenance

- Troubleshoot and verify voltage

- Mount technology hardware

- Valid driver's license and a truck/van that can hold materials such as ladders

Provided equipment is as follows:

- Laptop computer
- Cell phone
- Cable Analyzer
- Mileage reimbursement

Required tools:
-Punch tool w/ 110 & 66 blades
-RJ-45/RJ-11 crimp tool
-Coax crimp tool and stripper
-Utility knife
-Cable and wire cutters
-Pliers
-Hand tools (screwdrivers)
-Hand saw
-Volt-ohm Meter
-Tool box
-Scissors
-Awl
-Flashlight
-Tone generator and probe
-Tape measure
-Torpedo level
-Cordless drill with bit set
-Hole saw set
-Test phone
-6 foot, 10 foot, 12 foot step ladder

Qualified field technicians will be traveling throughout the Chicagoland area on the 1st shift. Field Technicians will be paid between $20 and 22 per hour.
