Job Listing: Sr. Web Developer / Web Master

TEKsystems has a great opportunity for a qualified Web Master in the Victorville/Barstow area. This is a long term contract opportunity expected to last 3-4 years. The initial contract will be written for 1 year and is renewable on an annual basis.

Some of the highlights of this position are:
- Autonomy: candidate will be responsible for all web development activities.
- SharePoint experience: the technologies being utilized are all Microsoft technologies. This includes SharePoint Portal Server. SharePoint use will continue to increase and so will the demand for developers with SharePoint development experience.
- Security Clearance: candidate will be required to obtain Secret Security Clearance. Once this contract ends, marketability will be increased with an active clearance.

Primary task will be to convert existing website to .NET and SharePoint. Also responsible for server and system updates and administer all web-related equipment for performance and stability.

Required skills:

- Analytical designer/architect with Graphic and Human Interaction (HCI) Design Experience
- Experience with N-Tier design and architecture
- Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
- Flash Action Script
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio
- HTML, DHTML, XML, CGI, PHP, AJAX, Strong CSS and JavaScript
- Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SharePoint Server
- FTP, SQL, APACHE, Tomcat, DNS, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts and terminology
- ASP.NET, CSS Macromedia Dreamweaver, J2EE,JSP, and JRUN

Candidate will be required to design and develop common user interactions standards, system usability guidelines, design guidelines, GUI prototypes, as well as development methodologies within a CMS environment. Participate in the testing process through test review, analysis, test witnessing and certification of general releases.

Some of the Infrastructure related responsibilities are:

- Install and troubleshoot web and related servers (DNS, IIS, FTP, etc)
- Train administrative personnel on web related services and configurations
- Create, manage, and maintain web content
