Job Listing: Mechanical Engineer PE

Aerotek Architecture and Engineering, a technical recruiting firm, has partnered with a MEP firm in Washington, DC metro area that is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to design for commercial, government and mission critical facilities as well as lead a team.

Job Description:
- Sr. Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for working with Project Managers and design professionals to develop drawings and specifications for new design projects. Perform calculations for mechanical systems and develop specifications utilizing Masterspec and Spectext standard format. Sr. ME will be responsible for overseeing the work of junior mechanical engineers and CAD operators.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required with PE
2. 10+ years of experience
3. Exp with construction documents and performing engineering load calculations
4. Exp with any type of building design (commercial, residential, industrial or health care)
3. Must be familiar with AutoCAD
4. Must be eligible for a security clearance

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $54,000 to $75,000 per Hour
