Job Listing: Infrastructure Project Manager

TEKsystems in Des Moines is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for one of its largest clients on a contract basis.

This resource will manage the activities of a very strategic initiative which will partner our client with a very large organization who will act as the outsource provider of many of our client's critical I/T data center type of operations. This position will be senior level and this person must have prior experience in the completion of an outsourcing arrangement of an I/T operations or data center. Key to the role will be experience in outsourcing and external procurement. A strong ability to manage, direct, and lead the work activities of this large and complex program is required. This resource must have program or project management experience work and have experience working with multiple sub-project teams.

Requirements/Preferences

· Experience in outsourcing arrangements is required

· A proven track record of working on large, complex projects or programs

· Working with and obtaining approvals from key project stakeholders and participants on work initiatives, including working directly with Sr. and Executive Management

· A thorough knowledge of project and program management including experience in the development, maintenance and management of key project management deliverables and in the management of project management processes; financial, scope, plans, resources, etc.

· Ability to Independently lead, drive and manage numerous technical activities and tasks concurrently, varying in size and complexity

· Experience coordinating activities with both internal and external resources

· Ability to facilitate and lead discussions and meetings with business and technical resources
