Job Listing: RF Engineer

Our client in Sunrise specializing in consumer electronic products is looking for a RF Engineer.

Candidate will be responsible for design, test and verification of specific circuit blocks and contribute where needed to meet the product introduction schedule.

Specific responsibilities include designing, simulating, and optimizing RF circuits for consumer product market. These circuits include transceivers, low-noise amplifiers, matching networks, and RF power amplifiers up to 3.8GHZ operating frequency; PCB layout optimization, component specification, circuit/component testing/measurement/factory and field failure analysis.

Individual will contribute in varying capacity to all phases of product development from conceptual feasibility studies through monitoring early volume production and analyzing early field failures. Some factory support for prototype builds and production ramp will be required.

REQUIRES a Bachelors Degree along with 2+ years of experience working with RF circuit design and testing. Must have theoretical and practical knowledge of common RF circuits such as LNA's, VCO's, mixers, power amplifiers and transceivers. Must have design experience in LNA, PLL/synthesizer, driver amplifiers, ceramic and SAW filter characterization, PA matching is a plus. Experience in high frequency simulation with HP ADS is also desired. Requires RF circuit design, analog/mixed-signal circuit design. General understanding and experience using RF test equipments. Background in Lab-View knowledge a plus
