Job Listing: Information Architect

Our client is currently seeking an Information Architect .

Candidates will be responsible for modeling project-level data models for applications under development.

Responsibilities include the coordinating and working with resources from the business, development, and database administration areas to develop an information solution that advances best practices within Information Architecture.

The Information Architect has responsibility for the gathering of data requirements through facilitated sessions or Use Cases, and designing data models based on those requirements.

The Information Architect has responsibility for review and approval of the data model by the project team.

The Information Architect must be able to influence the project team to design and build quality data models within defined standards.

The Information Architect is required to handle multiple project assignments with minimal direction, manage and negotiate work load with project manager, escalate issues as necessary to his/her management, and possess excellent communication skills.

The Information Architect must possess the flexibility required to respond to changing priorities.

Skill or Experience Requirements:

Solid data modeling and facilitation skills are the most critical skills needed.

Coolgen or ERwin tool experience required.

DBA skills are a plus but not required.

Well developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are also necessary.
