This is a retained Executive Search for our client a World leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft, turbines and space propulsion systems with operating profits of $2.0 billion in 2007. We are search for a FELLOW Diagnostics, Prognostics & Health Management to be responsible for design and development of next generation gas path performance diagnostic and prognostic methodologies for off-board and on-board applications. The Systems Analysis and Aerodynamics department is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, highly technical person to fill the role of Fellow in its Diagnostics, Prognostics, and Health Management discipline.

Required Skills
PhD in ME/EE/AE/Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics preferred with focus on diagnostic and prognostic techniques.
At least 15 years of practical experience in the areas indicated in Job Responsibilities section.
knowledge of MATLAB or a similar high-level technical computing language is essential
Expertise in all collaborative tools in MS Office including MS Project is needed.

Salary and Benefits

M.S. candidates with equivalent experience are also encouraged to apply.

Expertly demonstrated communication skills are essential.
Ability to create technical material for, and the ability to present to, all levels of the organization will be critical for this job.
Since all analytical work in the discipline is done in MATLAB, knowledge of MATLAB or a similar high-level technical computing language is essential.
Expertise in all collaborative tools in MS Office including MS Project is needed.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residence status is required because of the nature of the job.
Experience in the engine service (MRO) industry, field support, aftermarket supply chain, etc. is a definitely plus.
Knowledge of standard software development processes is desirable.
