Job Listing: User Interface / ASP.net Developer

TEKsystems is looking for a senior level ASP.NET UI Developer to work at the site of our client in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract-to-hire role. The project is an online ordering system (Procurement manager) for their Healthcare division. This will allow people in the field to order medical equipment like uniforms or other materials for their departments. As a consultant to our client, this person will be assisting with the design and development of a large scale online product ordering system, using ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML. Any E-Commerce experience may be helpful for this role. Candidates should possess 5 or more years of .NET development experience, focused on UI development with ASP.NET and knowledge of AJAX. The candidate must have strong knowledge of how the front end connects to the database and to web services. Candidates should possess strong web design and web development experience using Microsoft tools, including HTML wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups. Experience with Web Services and Composite Application Block (CAB) would be helpful. Other required development skills include AJAX , HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, XHTML and DOM. Strong mentoring and team leadership abilities are also strongly preferred.
