Job Listing: Cybersecurity Consultant - Security Technology in Reston, VA
Cybersecurity Consultant professionals deliver innovative solutions to key US Government clients and provide expertise in all aspects of Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity Consultants identify and evaluate business needs for security gaps and will help to create and implement security strategies and plans. They also anticipate security requirements and identify sound security controls for applications, systems, processes and organizations. Cybersecurity Consultants work on dedicated security projects, and well as with cross disciplinary teams to integrate security controls on projects.
The company is currently looking for consultants for their Security practice with extensive experience in Information Assurance standards and policies for the federal government, with deep expertise with Cybersecurity related disciplines.
Required Skills
• Minimum 3 years experience with Information Assurance or Information Security
Professional Skill Requirements:
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Expertise with Federal security frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, DoD Directives
• Strongly prefer industry-adopted security certification (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM)
