Position Code, Title and Location: 2992 – 0TC0 - Payroll Leader – Miami, FL Start Date: ASAP Est. Duration of 1st stage: 4- 6 months Type: Contract to Hire Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work. Additional Information: Health Care and Benefits Available Description: Our Client is a government institution. Responsibilities: • Plan, direct, and support the work related to payroll • Provide maintenance of payroll, pension, and worker’s compensation • Analyze payroll system problems and provide recommendations • Assist in stabilizing a new Oracle Payroll System • Assist the IT Department, vendors, and consultants with implementing system changes and requirements to meet the organization’s needs

Required Skills

• Payroll experience (10+ years)
• Previous management and team development experience (5 + years)
• Experience working with Oracle and Kronos
• Government Payroll experience (preferred)
• Labor union experience (preferred)
• Certified Payroll Professional certification (preferred)
