Cerner Application Analyst
The primary function of this position is to lead and support Cerner Millennium clinical applications. Application Analysts work with hospital departments and company Data Center staff to support a full suite of Cerner Millennium applications and other legacy clinical applications and technological solutions to meet the goals of the organization.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
. Experience with similar applications from other vendors will be considered.
Experience as a systems and/or support analyst, and/or previous healthcare and/or project management experience. Includes both implementation and ongoing support experience.
Experience in PowerChart, Scheduling, PathNet Blood Bank, PharmNet, and SurgiNet modules within Cerner Millennium preferred.
Excellent interpersonal ski1 At least 1 years work experience with implementing and supporting Cerner Millennium applications strongly preferredlls, (both verbal and written), as well as excellent organizational skills.
Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ability to work on your own, with solid problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with both non-technical and technical staff and vendors.
Required Skills
Experience with healthcare informatics and/or application development, and experience with MS office software, and Microsoft operating environments.
BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent in educational and/or work experience
1 year experience supporting Cerner Millenium
